Federal workers are the backbone of Washington. They open the doors, write the briefs, answer the calls, and make sure our country moves forward, often without recognition. Now, many of them are facing a difficult time.
At Compass Coffee, we believe in showing up for the people who show up for all of us. That is why we are launching the Fuel the Federal Workforce Fund - a simple way to help keep Washington going.
We started by donating a pastry with every drink purchase. But as the shutdown continues, we know we need to do more.
We need your help.
At Compass Coffee, we are already doing what we can, but the truth is, we cannot do it alone. Every contribution goes directly toward providing free coffee and food for furloughed federal workers at Compass Coffee cafés across Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland.
Starting Tuesday, November 4th, all furloughed federal employees can stop by any of our cafés once per day for a free drink and a free food item with a valid federal agency ID.
When times are uncertain, community matters most. In a city that runs on public service and coffee, we believe everyone deserves to feel cared for and supported.
