Ceremonial Grade Matcha

This is the same stone-ground, ceremonial grade matcha that we use every day in our cafes! It's super-finely ground, meaning the matcha you brew up at home will be silky smooth. This pack contains 2oz of tea, which is enough for about 25 matchas! We recommend one lightly packed teaspoon per 8oz of water. 

This matcha is made from the first harvest of tea leaves, using only the top-most leave of each plant. A few weeks before harvest, the leaves are shaded to reduce the production of tannins in the tea to keep them from turning bitter and preserve the leaves' naturally-occurring L-Theanine.

After picking, the leaves are dried in the sun and ground to a delicate powder. We specially created this blend to pair perfectly with our signature simple syrups. Try a matcha latte at home with a touch of Madagascar Vanilla, Lavender Honey, or Coconut!
