Colombia Nariño Single Origin
Cedar | Clove | Cinnamon
Hop in the Chiva and join us as we travel to some of the highest elevations in Nariño! The days are warm and the nights are cool as the breeze off the Pacific Ocean weaves its way through mountain ranges as high as 6,000 feet. High in Colombia’s southwestern mountains, Nariño is one of the country’s most distinct coffee regions. Its cool nights, warm days, and volcanic soil help cherries mature slowly, creating a dense bean packed with flavor.
This particular coffee is a Caturra varietal which gets picked, fermented, and then sun-dried on parabolic beds. We selected this coffee for its bright, full, and complex flavor - much like the landscape from which it came!
This bold dark roast brings out rich notes of cedar, clove, and cinnamon. Best enjoyed as a French press to highlight its deep, spiced profile!
